Möller Organ

In 1976, M. P. Möller of Hagerstown, Maryland, replaced the original 54-rank, 1930, E. M. Skinner organ. The new 105-rank, Möller organ consisted of five divisions: Great, Swell, Choir, Positiv and Pedal. Some 30 ranks of the Skinner organ were revoiced and used with the new instrument. In 1981, at the time of the sanctuary renovation, the Möller company installed the 16-rank Pearl Neugent Nordan organ presently housed in the gallery. Notable features of the organ include a Trompette-en-chamade (horizontal trumpet) and a set of 61 English handbells, playable from both chancel and gallery consoles. In March 1985, an addition of 20 ranks and a new five-manual solid-state console completed the organs, now totaling 141 ranks, nine divisions, with 7,592 pipes.
