Organist/Pianist (P/T)
1605 Veirs Mill Rd, Rockville, MD 20851
Sundays 10:30am service with 9:30am rehearsal; Wednesdays 7:30pm rehearsals; other scheduled services (i.e., Ash Wednesday, Good Friday); and right of first refusal of unscheduled services (i.e., Weddings, Funerals).
Traditional liturgical style worship; selects Prelude and Postlude related to theme of the service/day; ability to sight-read; ability to take directions and work as team member; accompany soloists as necessary; reports directly to Director of Music and Pastor.
Organ: 1929 Newcomer Organ Co. pipe organ; recently refurbished; (more info later)
Piano: Steinway grand.
Salary commensurate with experience; 2 weeks leave per year; Continuing Education stipend available.
